Collection: Natural Timber Crystal Talismans created with Our Little Shed, Terrigal NSW
In collaboration with Nathan from Our Little Shed in Terrigal, NSW, I’m thrilled to present our ‘Spirit of Dryad’ Collection—a beautifully Australian-made line featuring predominantly local timbers. Each Necklace Talisman is a fusion of two timeless crafts: woodworking and macrame, resulting in a stunning piece that honors the beauty of nature and the art of slow creation.
Wood, a true gift from Mother Earth, carries its own soothing, grounding energy. Every tree has its own spiritual significance, symbolizing resilience, clarity, and a reminder to stay calm amidst the noise of modern life. In a world where balancing technology and daily chaos has become second nature, these wooden talismans encourage you to pause, breathe, and reconnect.
Just like crystals and minerals, each tree holds a unique spiritual and energetic essence, with its growth rings serving as a natural fingerprint—a record of its journey. These one-of-a-kind characteristics, combined with their simple yet tactile finish, make each palm-sized pendant a deeply personal talisman. A constant reminder to Stop, Breathe & Rest.
How are they made?
These beautifully tactile pendants are meticulously hand-crafted by Nathan in Our Little Shed, located in Terrigal on the Central Coast, NSW. Made from ethically sourced native timbers, each piece occasionally features an exotic addition, such as Ebony, to further enhance its natural charm.
Once crafted, the pendants are sent to my small studio in Logan, SE Qld, where I intuitively weave them with comfortable, durable Brazilian Linhasita cord, complemented by high-quality Brass beading and carefully selected crystal elements.
Brass has been chosen for its ability to accentuate the warmth of the wood, while energetically infusing the talisman with courage, strength, and the ability to purify negative energy, helping to calm chaotic thoughts.
