Macassar Ebony and Shungite Necklace - 'Spirit of Dryad' Talisman (ii)

The second in our 'Spirit of Dryad' series, this Talisman has been created with a beautiful hand-finished Macassar Ebony pendant and features high quality Brass and Shungite beading, woven into rich, chocolate toned cording.

Macassar Ebony is the wood from the Diospyros celebica flowering tree, endemic to the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia.  Ebony has been used through time by those exploring their spiritual purposes and seeking strength on their spiritual journey. Ebony is used to protect against negative energies and bring clarity, supporting decision making. 

The Shungite beading used in this necklace are approx 50% carbon to ensure they are not too fragile to wear, but care should still be taken as with any crystal jewellery.  Shungite is a carbon based mineral from the karelie region of Russia.  It is known to protect from Electromagnetic energies (EMFs) and believed to detox the mind, body and soul.
