African Bloodstone, also known as Setonite, is a crystal of protective energy, often used as a protective talisman in battles and feuds. It is a form of Chalcedony Quartz with 'splotches' of blood red Jasper scattered throughout it.  As well as protection, it is believed to cleanse and purify negative energy while amplifying positive energy.
