Small, collectible and beautifully polished Amphibole Quartz Points, aka Angel Wing Quartz from Margarida Mine, Gentio do Ouro, Bahia, Brazil.

Amphibole specimens can also be known as 'Angel Wing Quartz', 'Red Rabbit Quartz' or 'Rabbit Hair Quartz'.  It can contain one or all of the following inclusions: Limonite, Kaolinite, Hematite and Lithium.

This point is 2.7cm tall / 2.5cm wide - While this is a stunning polished specimen, there is a natural raw section in the middle of the primary face (pale section) due to formation of the original specimen prior to polishing.
