Red Cap Amethyst | Auralite-23 Large Natural Point

Red Cap Amethyst or Auralite Amethyst (also known as Auralite 23, a trademarked name) is a recent find and still a rare specimen.  Initially located in Lake Superior, Canada, it has now also been found in small deposits in Brazil and Morocco.  This specimen is from Brazil.

What are the 23 minerals?  The 'base' mineral is Amethyst, which features inclusions and layers of Cacoxenite, Hematite, Nickel, Copper, Epidote, Limonite, Iron, Covellite, Sphalerite, Chalcopyrite, Ajoite, Gilalite, Bornite, Rutile, Goethite, Pyrolusite, Pyrite, Magnetite, Lepidocrosite, Silver and Gold.
