A nice sized specimen with large key in front and interesting growth etchings on side.  This specimen has a small injury chip in the underneath of the tip and has been priced accordingly.

Black Quartz is a variety of Smoky Quartz, with a high aluminum content  allowing natural (and artificial) irradiation to create the darkest, light absorbing specimens.
