Elestial Stalactite of Clear Quartz with Smoky Quartz double-terminated points and heavily etched - Inner Mongolia

This specimen is a wonderful raw, earthy and natural Inner Mongolian Quartz.  A heavily etched, Quartz stalactite with a large double-terminated Smoky Quartz on the top.  The top of the stalactite can be seen exiting the top/side of the Smoky.

Inner Mongolian always gives the most fascinating and interesting Quartz specimens. Due to the hydrothermal conditions of the region, Quartz from Inner Mongolia is best known for it’s heavily etched, cathedral and layered, skeletal surfaces.  Terminations often display growth interference, often capped with new frosted quartz growth.
