Elestial Stalactite of Clear Quartz with Smoky Quartz double-terminated points and heavily etched - Inner Mongolia

This specimen is the epitome of raw, earthy and natural Inner Mongolian Quartz.  A Clear Quartz stalactite with a collection of double-terminated Smoky Quartz points scattered along both sides.  Only one Smoky has damage which actually gives a glimpse into the magic world inside the crystal rather than detract from the specimen.

Inner Mongolia always gives the most fascinating and interesting Quartz specimens. Due to the hydrothermal conditions of the region, Quartz from Inner Mongolia is best known for it’s heavily etched, cathedral and layered, skeletal surfaces.  Terminations often display growth interference, often capped with new frosted quartz growth.
