Pink ‘Rose Petal’ Calcite Mineral Specimen - Yaogangxian Mine, Hubei Province, China 

Pink 'Rose Petal' Calcite is a type of 'Mangano Calcite'.  Manganese inclusions in the calcite create the gentle pink colouring, with it being best recognised for it's delicate, feminine petal-shaped appearance and vibrant UV-reaction.  Under short-wave UV light, this specimen glows vibrant orange and under long-wave UV light it glows an incredible hot pink.
